True, there are 150 km of ski slopes only in the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta ski area, easily reachable with a free ski bus service that leaves right in front of our hotel. If that wasn’t enough to satisfy your desire to ski, not far away are the Pejo and Passo del Tonale ski areas with the Presena Glacier.

You can go for walks with snowshoes

Lovers of walks in Val di Sole have the opportunity to go for walks with snowshoes in winter on an infinite number of itineraries surrounded by enchanting views, immersed in the peace of the snow-covered woods. A snowshoe hike is one of the best ways to experience winter in Val di Sole in a slower way, in close contact with nature, in the relaxing silence of our woods.

You can choose to walk independently as there are many marked trails, at the reception we will be happy to give you all the advice and indications regarding the most beautiful paths for walking with snowshoes. To go with snowshoes you only need appropriate clothing to avoid being cold, even if walking the cold passes immediately. The necessary equipment, such as snowshoes and telescopic stiks, we can also get you.

In Val di Sole there are many ice stadiums, where it is possible to rent skates and spend an alternative afternoon, whizzing on the ice with the skates on your feet with your family, with friends, with your better half.

The rentals are located in Cogolo di Pejo, in Vermiglio, in Malè and at Passo del Tonale, all outdoors and with both natural and artificial ice.

Being on skates develops and promotes the acquisition and improvement of our balance and our coordination. Moreover, thanks to its movements, it makes our body more elastic and flexible.

During the winter, the mountain huts are open and reachable on foot and with snowshoes, but they also offer a snowmobile transfer service, an experience that definitely needs no introduction! All this to allow you to taste our most authentic typical dishes, reaching an uncontaminated place surrounded by nature, away from the chaos and frenzy of the ski slopes, a place where you can rediscover the peace and silence that only winter nature is capable of giving.

And for the return? There are 3 options: go down on foot or with snowshoes, as you are more comfortable; you can return by snowmobile, in fact the service is active both on the outward and return journeys; or what we highly recommend, get on the sled and become a child again for a few minutes! Definitely an experience to try!

At the nearby riding center, it is possible to satisfy those who have always dreamed of riding in the suggestive scenery of the winter postcard, by booking a horse ride in the snow, another adventure that we highly recommend you to try. If you prefer something quieter to horseback riding, get on the horse-drawn sleigh and live your own fairy tale. Starting from the riding school, you walk along a stretch of cycle lane reaching the town of Pellizzano and back.
